Alternators & Starters

Alternator and Starters

Alternators are a crucial part of your car or truck electrical system. If the alternator is not working, you will need to replace it or have it rebuilt.

When a car alternator is not working, there are many things that can cause this issue. It could be the wire that connects the alternator to the battery, the brushes that turn on and off in order to charge your battery or even something as simple as a dirty terminal connection.

Replacing or rebuilding an alternator takes skill and patience,  if you are unsure about what might be wrong with your car's alternators or how to fix them, it is best to leave it up to an expert who has years of experience in auto repair.

About Car Starters

Your car starter is an electrical device that provides the power necessary to crank a car engine and get it running. The starter is located either inside the car's engine compartment or on top of it. It's connected to the battery and is activated by turning the key in your vehicle's ignition switch.

The starter consists of a solenoid, a starter motor, and a flywheel. The solenoid is attached to the engine block and when current flows through it, it activates the starter motor which spins the flywheel.
